LCN TV Station

Well this is the parent company to Speed Zone. Even though these two companies are not linked they are in a parent off spring relationship. We want to thank LCN TV for giving us the opportunity to have the TV show. The lobby of LCN.

In production Kipp (one of the best cameramen in the business, he is also one of our camera guy's) and Debra (a worker bee that never seems to stop, she must have a dura cell battery) editing a music video for the concert series.

A studio with green screen where we can make anything happen. Green screen is what is used when you want to put people in different places you just replace the green with the footage you want.

Like our camera's this is their back up beta SP. Still the industry standard for TV.

The new hi def camera's hope ours will be in soon. We'll have one, they have 8.


The satellite room this is where the signal starts it's journey to outer space and ends up at your TV set.

Another set this one is set up for Accent LA.


This says it all for the amount of work that they have to produce enough programing to make a 24/ 7 TV station.

The Sad Time Has Come

Please remember I haven't had time to clean the interior I just got back.

We'll it's time to sell the Ferrari 328 GTS. We need money to produce Speedzone so the Ferrari or one of the 3 Race cars will be sold. Here is some pictures of the Ferrari.

Here is the only dent in the Ferrari. Easton went to get me a wrench to work on my f500 and dropped it on the door leaving a small dent. I think it could be rolled out with the Paintless touch up but will need to be done by a professional don't want to repaint the door.

Holding the shot

One true test of any cameraman, when things go wrong does he hold the shot Or does he cut and run. We'll we have the answer on Dr. White. He held the shot. When the action started the car was 50 feet in front of Dr. White. The car was 1/2 way above the wall on the opposite side of the track pointing and coming directly toward him. The drive did a great job holding the car on the track and we thank him for that. Pictures were taken by Jim Reviere of Laflyins. Thanks Jim.

Filming has begun

Filming has begun. This is the second weekend of filming the new TV show Speed Zone. We shot Saturday and Sunday. The weather was perfect both days we got some good footage, but also had problems with cameras and power . We need a bunch of new equipment like generators since we are filming for 8 to 12 hours at a time battery power is not enough. I've found a small generator for $149.00, we'll get 4 of them to power each camera. We also need to get a TV screen so we can see what each camera's picture will look like as we shoot. One camera was on the wrong filter and the film is not usable. We did get 2 money shots this weekend and will use both in the opening of the show.

Of course the Teutons were well represented at this race. They ran 2 car's and 1 dragster. Mr. Joe gave us a interview and it was a lot of fun.

Who said chicks can't be fast. Well Mrs. Elain Larson's out to prove them wrong. She's looking at the 300mph mark and it may be within her reach. Sunday she had a run at over 280mph.

Mrs. Larson was a easy interview. We talked for about 30 minutes from everything from chicks can go fast to she's looking to break the 300mph mark. What a great interview. She was very relaxed in front of the camera and must have done many in the past. Pretty women and fast cars - what else could a man want.

Sharp Contractors also gave an interview they seemed very nice but very uneasy in front of the camera. During the interview we found out why. One of their family members had just passed away while we were interviewing. We wish them well and our thought and prayers are with them and their family at this time. Thanks for the interview guys.

After filming for about 6 hour's Jimbo was told he was in dead man's land and he should move because at 300mph he could not move fast enough if something happened next to where he was on the track. Our little orange jackets give us a lot of freedom but it could also get us into trouble until we learn the rules of where to be and not be. We did ask the tower and they did not have a problem with us going there. But we thank the guy on the motorcycle for the advice and Jimbo didn't have to be told twice to move.

Jimbo was given a better view and a much safer place to shoot from in the cherry picker. It came with a few problems though like a bunch of bounce with each movement that he made in the basket. Next time, I think we will be shooting from a platform at the same location.

Jimbo out of harm's way 20 feet off the ground. The wind played hell with him. Haven't seen the footage yet from him up high but should see it before next race.

Five minute's after his move a dragster eats it next to the finish line. This drives home the point that he didn't want to be where he was filming.

Jimbo became a star by being in many of the shots of the times that were taken to be used in the show. All in all a very good learning day. Next time we will do a 4 or 5 camera shoot.
